Yeah so I've been promoting the hell out of the band with my gf the past couple of months and have had some pretty bad headaches but also met some cool people. One show out in Hartford CT we could not bring the 700 promo cds we spent all week long making and we then stashed them in a bush outside. When I left early to hand them out a bum apparently had watched us stash them and stole them all. I was very upset and my gf was so devestated she started to cry. I spent the next half hour to 45mins walking around looking for this guy with the bags of cds to confront him(or assault him! >=0). I got an attitude from 2 cops and a security guard on different occasions that night when asking them about what I could do about my problem. At the end of the day for some law enforcement is just a job; don't expect much then you won't be disappointed. At another show down in New Jersey my gf got assaulted and I got yelled at and almost in a fight with two security guards because they pushed her and told her not to hand out Cd's. I called the cops about that and Officer Attitude Problem gave me absolutely no help. I understand making 65+k a year to sit at a desk and play secretary is hard but don't take it out on me ;). Lastly a bunch of metal heads at another NJ show tossed about 50 Cd's on the ground at different spots on a line we were handing them out at and smashed/stepped on/burned them. Then right in front of my gf again at the end of the night these two drunken knuckleheads starting smashing two Cd's I gave them and talking shit after I walked away. She was by the car and saw the whole thing, all of our hard work being treated like that. Once again when she told me I went to confront these two punks and one way or another I would have had justice with them but to no avail for they had already left. Speaking of justice, I hope all of this hard work pays off and we can win some fans over with it. On a good note we have also played some shows with a lot of cool people and met very many helpful, encouraging people at concerts. Some people were even helping me pick up Cd's people were throwing on the ground.
On some more random life notes when I was at one of my concerts my drummer saw a UFO. He said it was glowing very bright, hovering over a power plant by our houses and shot up in the sky like a comet after 20-30 seconds. I wish the government and military would release more information about the whole UFO subject. I had to put my dog Merlin down with my mother and sister last week because he had cancer. Man they do it right it front of you, it was pretty intense seeing a family member go down like that. RIP Merlin, you were a pain in the ass but you will be missed. Also Chris got us some slot on a CT radio station where we are the "homegrown" band of the week, kudos to Chris. Until next time...... <:]

Begging to be Choosey
I just want to say to any other band out there that we may work with in the future - Be Professional. If we invite you to play a show with us, and have a specific time in mind, you either play at that time or you don't play at all. But you can't be a little bitch about what time you get to play, if you didn't book the show. If you booked the show, then you get to dictate what time you play, and, WE DIDN'T COMPLAIN when you booked a shitty ass show at some craptacular shit-hole and gave us the worst time slot possible. No, we showed up, did our job, and then even hung around to watch your show (something this particular band has not done very well).
Quite frankly, at this level, no one we are working with are rockstars - so just be happy you're playing a show and shut your fucking whiny little mouths.
Bitches.

Welcome
So, welcome to the first blog post from the band Seeking Apollo. We have been working very tirelessly this summer to deliver a better concert experience for all of our fans. We are currently working on new music, and hope to have a new album out to you by the end of the year, as well as many more shows, maybe some in your neighborhood. Stay tuned, we'll be back with much more.
